Power Performance Design Engineer

About the role

Contribute to developing prototypes for ATV/SxS vehicles, researching new technologies, and maintaining product quality.

Responsibilities

• Design component and system layouts using CAD to meet concept, function, and manufacturing requirements, and produce detailed drawings for global models.
• Manage project schedules, coordinate resources, and communicate progress effectively.
• Optimize part/system designs to meet cost targets and implement cost reduction ideas.
• Generate innovative ideas for technological advancements and support their development.
• Support quality improvements, analyze root causes, and develop specifications with minimal supervision.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or related field.
• Experience in engineering, preferably in Powersports or Automotive industries.
• Strong leadership, communication, and confidentiality skills.
• Proficiency in FTA, FMEA, dimensional tolerances, drawing/layout techniques, and CAE principles.
• Ability to plan, schedule, analyze problems, and prioritize effectively.

Working Conditions

Involves travel, primarily desk work, with occasional exposure to shop hazards; overtime may be required; adherence to safety and company policies is essential.
