Job Description Summary
The Pump & Power Technician 1 at Sunbelt Rentals is responsible for loading and unloading equipment, performing basic preventative maintenance, and minor repairs to ensure minimal downtime. Key responsibilities include:
- Loads and unloads equipment
- Performs basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs
- Avoids equipment downtime to maintain operational efficiency
Education or Experience
To succeed in this role, candidates should have 1-3 years of experience and/or familiarity with repairing and maintaining Power/HVAC/Compressor/Pump equipment and accessories.
Skills and Abilities
Essential skills and abilities include:
- Basic knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, Heater, HVAC, and Diesel driven Pumps
- Possesses a basic understanding of diesel equipment, electronics, and hydraulics
- Operational process/system aptitude
Physical Demands
The role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting up to 25 pounds, and working both indoors and outdoors as needed.
