Summary of Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute development for identified projects
  • Negotiate necessary development agreements
  • Manage the permitting process and anticipate and resolve other project development activities required
  • Develop local community support for the project
  • Manage relationships and develop commercial agreements with potential project output off-takers
  • Direct external consultants and coordinate with internal departments including engineering, finance, energy management/origination, external affairs, legal and asset management
  • Administer administrative responsibilities to include regular updates to Management on project progress, action items, budget and schedule

Requirements

  • Relevant energy project development experience with a proven track record of completion
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Self-starter, organized, and able to work well with personnel at all levels in the organization; possesses top level business management, interpersonal, and facilitation skills
  • Strong financial skills and understanding of company and project profit and loss, pro forma modeling, and NPV/IRR analysis
  • Possesses a strong understanding of real estate matters and complexities
  • Able to gather, organize, and systematically analyze complex information
  • Effective problem-solving skills: ability to work from concept to analytics, identify alternatives and develop unique solutions
  • Excellent writing, communications, presentation, interpersonal, problem-solving, financial analysis, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel as necessary
  • Must pass a pre-employment background and financial credit check

Compensation

  • The base annual salary range for this position is $125,000 – $225,000.
  • In good faith, this range includes the minimum to maximum salary range for this position. The actual base salary for this position will be contingent upon individual experience, role responsibilities, and office location.
  • In addition to base salary, this position allows additional compensation and benefits, including:
    • An annual discretionary bonus, variable based on individual and company performance,
    • Accrued paid time off (PTO) of 120 hours per year, and up to 13 company paid holidays,
    • Group benefits: 100% company paid medical, dental and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan with a 100% company match up to 6%, life insurance, short-and-long term disability, parental leave and flexible spending accounts.
  • The base annual salary range may be modified in the future.
