Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop detailed civil and structural designs, drawings, and models for power generation facilities, including foundations, steel structures, and site infrastructure
- Cook up with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, environmental, and project management) to ensure integrated design solutions
- Review and interpret engineering specifications, codes, and standards to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry best practices
- Perform site assessments and support constructability reviews to optimize design outcomes
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers, drafters, and engineering technicians
- Oversee and check design work for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project requirements
- Support project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining a high level of quality
- Aid in resolving design issues during project development and construction phases
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders as needed
- Maintain documentation and ensure proper version control of design deliverables
Qualifications
- Experience: Typically 5+ years of experience in Power Generation civil/structural design
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., Revit, Civil 3D), strong knowledge of civil/structural design principles, codes, and standards, ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents, familiarity with power generation facilities required
