Responsibilities
- Extracts, organizes, analyzes, and distills data into ready to consume insights that are useful for driving business decisions
- Executes process improvement projects using Six Sigma principles
- Provides plan/forecast analysis including comparisons to original budgets or prior forecasts
- Collaborates effectively with multiple internal departments and external stakeholders – Engineering, Operations, PGD Cost & Growth, Third-Party Owners, Business Management, IT to present findings and drive total cost decisions
- Develops broad technical and communication skills through self-study and internal and external training opportunities
- Manages internal controls processes and identifies and mitigates control weaknesses
- Utilizes Power BI to develop KPIs and dashboards for senior leadership
- Conducts analyses regarding issues impacting the operating portfolio and makes recommendations to management on opportunities for improvement
- Prepares PowerPoint presentations to senior leadership on issues impacting the business
- Develops, maintains, and enhances financial models used to support Third-Party operations
- Maintains close working relationships with customers and stakeholders
- Variad ad hoc financial analysis as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s in finance, Engineering, Business Management and/or CFA
- 2+ years of relevant analytical experience
- Strong analytical skillset, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools
- Strong quantitative abilities
- Able to solve complex problems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to build relationships
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
- High level of commercial acumen
- Six Sigma Certification; Yellow Belt or higher (preferred)
