Power Engineering Technologist II - Sterling, VA
Responsibilities
- Assisting with job-site visits
- Preparing detailed job packages
- Evaluating electrical loads
- Supporting construction practices
Requirements
- Engineering degree required
- Technical design proficiency using GIS/CAD tools and construction drawing preparation
- Basic electrical engineering knowledge, including load evaluation and utility standards
- Strong communication and field coordination skills for site visits and client interactions
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in related fields preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and computer-based project management tools
- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
