About the role

We are seeking a Power Electronics Engineer responsible for application, qualification, and integration of power electronic devices in HVAC systems.

Responsibilities

  • Qualifying VFDs
  • Applying variable speed drives to compressors and fans
  • Interfacing controls
  • Optimizing cooling
  • Analyzing motor-drive compatibility
  • Writing specifications
  • Conducting testing
  • Supporting lifecycle issues both in factory and field

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or Technology is essential.
  • A basic understanding of electrical circuits, systems integration, and motor-drive interactions.
  • An advantage of having HVAC knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Occasional travel may be required

Skills
