About the role
RINA is recruiting for a Power Electrical System Engineer to join its team within the Electrical Engineering and Power Systems Division. The role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience working on real-world electrical power design and analysis projects.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the design and analysis of electrical power systems (low, medium, and high voltage)
- Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports
- Perform load calculations and support power distribution studies
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and project managers
- Participate in field work, site visits, and inspections as needed
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE)
- Support projects from concept through completion
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (with a focus on power systems preferred)
- Recent graduate or 0–2 years of experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or co-op experience in power systems, utilities, or engineering consulting
- Familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or SKM (preferred but not required)
