Power Delivery Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster company culture and manage relationships both internally and externally.
  • Oversee project status reports, invoicing, accounts receivable, and unbilled items for each project.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure project success.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the project team.
  • Maintain schedules, lead project status meetings, manage budgets, and actively participate in proposal development and client interactions.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Familiarity with regional utility companies (i.e. Duquesne).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Proven project management expertise, including CPM scheduling, budget oversight, team leadership, proposal development, client engagement, and project presentations.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering management, construction management, or a related field, or 10+ years of relevant professional experience in the electric power and communications sector.
  • 10+ years of industry experience, with at least 5 years in project management.
  • Experience managing small to medium-scale projects or leading engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of project management tools and processes.
  • General knowledge of transmission systems.

Schedule

Primarily work within Power Delivery, with potential collaboration across other departments depending on the project. Local travel required.
