Power BI ServiceNow Data Integration//Atlanta, GA//C2C and W2

About the role

This position focuses on integrating ServiceNow data with Power BI to enable reporting and analytics. The role requires close collaboration with ServiceNow developers, administrators, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Extract data from ServiceNow using REST APIs, direct database views, scheduled exports, and other data sources
• Develop and maintain data pipelines between ServiceNow and Power BI
• Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
• Develop executive dashboards and operational reports
• Automate report distribution through Power BI Service
• Implement incremental refresh and data refresh scheduling
• Clean, transform, and optimize dataset performance
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and ensure data governance and security compliance
• Handle REST APIs and JSON/XML data

Requirements

• Strong experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service
• Experience extracting data from ServiceNow using REST APIs, direct database views, scheduled exports, and data sources
• Strong experience developing and maintaining data pipelines between ServiceNow and Power BI
• Experience working with ServiceNow tables including Incident, Change, Request, and CMDB
• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL
• Experience designing and developing interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
• Strong knowledge of Power BI data modeling, including star and snowflake schemas
• Experience with data cleaning, transformation, and dataset performance optimization
• Experience implementing incremental refresh and data refresh scheduling
• Experience developing executive dashboards and operational reports and automating report distribution through Power BI Service
• Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and ensuring data governance and security compliance
• Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON/XML data handling
• Ability to work closely with ServiceNow developers, administrators, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical reporting solutions
