Power BI on AWSfirst data platform

About the role

Skilled BI Lead to design, develop and lead enterprise BI solutions using Power BI on AWS first data platform. The candidate should have strong expertise in data modeling, SQL, cloud data warehousing, and dashboard development and leading BI initiatives that deliver scalable, secure and actionable business insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and support of enterprise Power BI dashboards, reports and semantic models
• Build scalable BI solutions using AWS services such as Amazon Redshift, S3, Athena and RDS
• Develop and optimize data models, DAX measures, Power Query transformations and SQL queries
• Establish Power BI governance, security RLS, deployment standards and performance optimization
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate reporting and analytics requirements into technical solutions
• Lead, mentor and support BI developers and analysts while promoting BI best practices
• Ensure data quality, consistency and compliance across reporting solutions

Required Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing or Analytics
• Expert-level experience with Power BI including DAX, Power Query, semantic models and Power BI Service
• Advanced SQL skills with experience in data modeling and dimensional star schema design
• Experience with data warehousing and cloud-based analytics platforms
• Knowledge with AWS data services including Amazon Redshift, S3, Athena and RDS
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD and Agile development methodologies
