Power BI Developer (Entry-Level / Junior)

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business reporting requirements from stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
• Create and optimize data models for efficient reporting and analysis.
• Develop calculations and business metrics using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
• Perform data transformation and cleansing using Power Query (M Language).
• Connect Power BI to multiple data sources, including SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Monitor report performance and optimize dashboards for speed and usability.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams to deliver actionable insights.
• Validate data accuracy and ensure report quality through testing and documentation.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with DAX, Power Query, and data visualization concepts (a plus).
• Knowledge of relational databases and data analysis fundamentals.
