Power BI Developer

About the role

Lasalle Network is partnering with a healthcare services organization to hire two Power BI Developers for a focused reporting initiative supporting its client identity and access function. These developers will recreate an existing Salesforce-connected Power BI reporting solution using ServiceNow data. The solution will give operations and business leaders an accessible way to search and review ticket details, request status, aging, completion information and user access requests without requiring direct access to the underlying ticketing platform. This opportunity requires strong hands-on expertise in both Power BI development and ServiceNow data. Successful candidates will investigate data structures, resolve technical barriers and take ownership of a defined reporting deliverable through completion. The role is fully remote within the United States (Pacific, Mountain, Central or Eastern time zones), contract-based for approximately three months, with two openings.

Responsibilities

• Recreate existing Salesforce-connected Power BI reporting functionality using ServiceNow data.
• Extract, interpret, transform and model ServiceNow data to support accurate reporting.
• Build reporting that allows business users to search and filter by client, service line, application, assigned specialist, user, case number, request type, status and date.
• Develop visibility into ticket inventory, aging, completion and user access requests.
• Translate custom ServiceNow fields, attributes and status logic into reporting functionality.
• Evaluate historical data and troubleshoot data relationships, extraction issues and reporting discrepancies.
• Assess existing reporting assets for components that may support the new solution.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and validate results.
• Proactively communicate roadblocks, dependencies and delivery risks.
• Drive the reporting deliverable through completion within the project timeframe.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• At least three years of strong, hands-on Power BI development experience.
• Deep working knowledge of ServiceNow data, including fields, attributes and underlying data structures.
• Experience extracting, interpreting and transforming ServiceNow data for Power BI reporting and dashboards.
• Ability to recreate reporting functionality currently supported by a Salesforce-connected Power BI solution using ServiceNow data.
• Experience developing searchable and filterable reporting for request and ticket information.
• Demonstrated ability to independently troubleshoot technical issues and work through ambiguity.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration, ownership and follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Five or more years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
• Healthcare or revenue cycle management experience.
• Availability aligned with Pacific or Mountain time zones.

Pay

Pay Range: $60 - $70 per hour.

Schedule

Working hours are flexible, subject to collaboration needs and completion of project deliverables. The initiative is targeted for completion by year-end. An extension is extremely unlikely, and no conversion to a permanent position is anticipated. The interview process consists of one video panel covering technical and behavioral questions.
