Essential Functions

• Movement of sandblasted chassis into the paint booth.
• Remove all debris from chassis using an air hose.
• Coating of chassis following approved procedures and company’s quality standards.
• Upkeep of coating equipment to ensure daily functionality.

• Read and process written communication including, but not limited to, work orders, frame prints, and measurements.
• Meet production goals and time deadlines for company projects.
• Work with minimum supervision.
• Demonstrate competency in coating procedures.
• Rotate to other production positions as the need arises or as is deemed necessary.
• Operate appropriate equipment including coating gums, pumps, compressors, heating units, tape measures, etc.
• Physically lift and maneuver weights in excess of fifty pounds.
• Exhibit successful problem-solving skills.
• Show tact and diplomacy and maintain professional relationships with supervisors, fellow employees, customers, etc.
• Work under physically and mentally stressful situations.
• Prioritize and easily adapt to changes through the day.

Physical Demands

• Frequent exposure to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
• Occasional exposure to a variety of extreme weather conditions.
• Regular exposure to noise levels in the work environment and job sites.

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time hourly position for 1st and 2nd shifts located in the Goshen Plant. Travel No travel is expected for this position.
