Powdercoat Apprentice PM Shift - $17 -22

Job Duties

• Prepare parts and products for coating
• Safely operate and handle equipment to apply powder coat onto various parts and products
• Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application
• Deciphering tags to ensure that accurate parts and colors are being used
• Bake parts and products at appropriate temperatures within time limitations
• Pulling racks out of ovens when cure temperature is met
• Transporting the racks within the Powder Coat Department to facilitate out-gassing of components, powder application, and cure

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong background in powder coating
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the application of powder coating
• Maintain mathematical skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing
• Strong attention to detail
