Powder Coat Plug 3rd Shift

Position Summary

Powder Coat Operators are responsible for line setup, scanning parts into computer, hanging uncoated parts onto conveyor, unloading the line, plugging parts, and inspecting coated parts. The unloader is responsible for packing parts as required (including wrapping or layering parts in cage). The unloader scans quantities, piece counts, and weights into the computer, prints labels, and applies stickers. They visually inspect all coated parts to ensure quality adherence and use a crane and hoist.

Essential Job Functions

• Come to work every day, on time as scheduled
• Proficient communication skills
• Understand and follow maintenance Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures when applicable
• Use computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP system
• Visually inspect all coated parts to ensure quality adherence
• Plug parts to fill holes
• Any other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficient and basic math and computer skills
• LOTO awareness level training
