Responsibilities
- Prepare and clean metal surfaces for coating, including sanding, masking, and applying pre-treatment.
- Apply powder coating materials to a variety of fabricated parts using spray equipment.
- Operate and maintain powder coating equipment, ovens, and spray guns.
- Ensure proper curing of coated parts by monitoring oven temperatures and bake times.
- Inspect finished products for quality, coverage, and adherence to company standards.
- Touch up, rework, or recoat parts when necessary.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Assist with material handling, hanging, and packaging of finished products.
- Collaborate with production team to meet daily schedules and deadlines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in powder coating or similar finishing processes.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures and personal protective equipment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating powder coating equipment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices.

Pay
- $18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience.
