Powder Coat Painter - 1st Shift
Duties/Responsibilities
- Operate, troubleshoot and maintain assigned paint booth, gun, and related tools.
- Must change over booth or perform other necessary operations in support of the paint department and production schedules.
- Report defective materials or questionable quality conditions to the department SME.
- Maintains the work area and and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on paint equipment, as required
Required Skills/Abilities
- Must be able to wear a respirator
- Must be detailed orientated
- Must have the ability to use a hand held sprayer to properly coat materials
- Able to follow established SOP's and Work Instructions
- Able to follow directions and work in a fast paced, team environment
- Able to stay self-motivated
- Able to complete required paperwork
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing
- Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50lbs
Education And Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous Paint Experience Is Required
- Previous powder coat paint experience preferred
