About the role
This is a full-time, hands-on position in our powder-coating operation. Team members rotate through tasks that include applying coatings, performing preventative maintenance, handling parts, and maintaining inventory and housekeeping standards.
Responsibilities
- Apply powder coating to parts for assembly
- Conduct daily chemical checks
- Perform preventative maintenance as required
- Hang and unload painted parts from baskets/pallets and transport them to assembly cells
- Hang and remove parts on/from the conveyor line
- Manually push full racks to assembly and return empty pallets to the powder paint line
- Observe all safety rules and policies
- Maintain raw material inventory (coatings, supplies, etc.)
- Rotate positions within the team structure as necessary
- Assist in repair work as needed
- Maintain good housekeeping practices at all times
Work Environment
- Frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration
- Occasional exposure to a variety of extreme weather conditions
- Loud noise levels in the work environment and job sites
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to talk and hear
- Constant standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the shift
- Frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Additional overtime may be required depending on production demands.
Qualifications
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Manufacturing or industry experience preferred
