About the role

This is a full-time, hands-on position in our powder-coating operation. Team members rotate through tasks that include applying coatings, performing preventative maintenance, handling parts, and maintaining inventory and housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities

• Apply powder coating to parts for assembly
• Conduct daily chemical checks
• Perform preventative maintenance as required
• Hang and unload painted parts from baskets/pallets and transport them to assembly cells
• Hang and remove parts on/from the conveyor line
• Manually push full racks to assembly and return empty pallets to the powder paint line
• Observe all safety rules and policies
• Maintain raw material inventory (coatings, supplies, etc.)
• Rotate positions within the team structure as necessary
• Assist in repair work as needed
• Maintain good housekeeping practices at all times

Work Environment

• Frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration
• Occasional exposure to a variety of extreme weather conditions
• Loud noise levels in the work environment and job sites

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk and hear
• Constant standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the shift
• Frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Additional overtime may be required depending on production demands.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Manufacturing or industry experience preferred
