About the role

The Powder Coat Painter uses electrostatic powder paint equipment to apply powder paint to metal products.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, hang, and remove parts from carts
• Clean and prep parts to ensure a quality paint finish
• Use forklift and hoists to move parts and materials
• Use other hand tools as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Familiarity with different types of coatings and their applications
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
• Experience with the maintenance and repair of paint equipment
• Ability to operate all paint equipment including paint ovens, spray washer, and paint pump equipment
• Check work to identify quality and/or safety issues
