About the Role

We are seeking a registered nurse for a full-time night shift role, providing direct patient care in an acute care hospital setting. This role emphasizes patient care, safety, teamwork, and ongoing professional development in a Magnet®-recognized hospital committed to nursing excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within nursing standards.
• Promoting patient and family-centered care, education on illness management, and post-treatment needs.
• Participating in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and supporting professional development.
• Developing and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients.
• Using critical skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers.

Requirements

• Minimum education: Nursing diploma or associate's degree; bachelor’s preferred.
• Licensure: Active RN license.
• No prior experience required; less than two years preferred for higher education levels.
• Ability to work safely and remain alert in a safety-sensitive role.
