Role: Postdoctoral Scientist in the Surgery Chair within the Otolaryngology department, focusing on cochlear gene therapy research. Responsibilities: Engineer AAV vectors for targeted cochlear gene delivery and develop innovative genetic cargo for hearing loss treatment.Perform cochlear surgeries, therapeutic delivery, and auditory testing such as ABR and DPOAE.Conduct hands-on animal research using mouse models.Collaborate with the team and receive mentorship in the research process. Qualifications & Skills: Strong background in molecular biology, gene therapy, or related fields.Experience with animal models, particularly mice, and surgical techniques.Proficiency in auditory testing methods.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
