Postdoctoral Scholar - Research Associate

About the role

The Iovine and Young Academy (IYA) at the University of Southern California (USC) is seeking a full-time postdoctoral position in learning and sociotechnical innovation. The position is designed to focus on applied research in learning and innovation emerging at IYA and beyond, with a particular emphasis on the intersection of technology, arts and design, and business of innovation.

Responsibilities

• Advance the efforts to discover and deliver innovative learning processes and experiences
• Design innovative sociotechnical environments
• Assess outcomes related to groundbreaking IYA learning and innovation across pedagogy and curriculum, design spaces and sociotechnical environments, learning culture/environment, and industry/community collaborations

Requirements

• PhD in a relevant field (e.g., education, technology, design)
• Experience in research and development of learning technologies
• Strong background in sociotechnical systems and innovation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Research experience in learning and innovation
• Knowledge of sociotechnical systems and innovation
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
