About the role

The Department of Computer Science seeks to develop a pool of candidates for postdoctoral scholars (post-doc) positions in Computer Science. A post-doc is a professional appointment designed to provide recent doctoral degree recipients with an opportunity to gain experiences and skills that will advance their careers. A post-doc works under the supervision and sponsorship of a regular faculty member, who serves as a mentor to the post-doc, and it is expected that the faculty sponsor will provide an orientation and development plan for the post-doc, impart the realities and variety of careers available to the post-doc, and encourage learning opportunities to broaden the post-doc’s aspirations and experiences.
