Salary range: The full time salary range for this position is $69,073 - $82,836. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. See the Table of Starting Salaries for Initial Appointment of Postdocs.

Position Description
The Department of Mathematics anticipates possible openings for Postdoctoral Scholars throughout the 2026-27 academic year. Positions are dependent on extramural funding and research contracts of individual Principal Investigators (P.I.s). The initial position will be for one year, with the possibility of renewal based on job performance and availability of support.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application): Applicants should possess a PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Biology, or related fields by appointment start date.
