Postdoctoral Scholar

Position Description

The Department of Physics will only accept applications from qualified applicants beginning on the date of the post. Review will begin immediately and continue until the posting is filled. Only applications submitted through the Texas State University website will be accepted and considered.

Required Qualifications

• Candidates should hold (or soon to obtain) a Ph.D. degree in Physics, Engineering, or a closely related discipline, and demonstrate potential for outstanding research in electronic materials and devices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Preference will be given to applicants with extensive experience in one or more of the areas below:
• WBG & UWBG semiconductors process integration and device fabrication
• Oxides and Nitrides thin-film growth/deposition with PVD/CVD/ALD
• Scanning/transmission electron microscopy (S/TEM) characterizations
