- Characterize fabricated devices using CNM’s quantum labs.
- Collaborate with other team members and external collaborators to conduct local and network quantum experiments.
- Participate in a highly collaborative research environment, interacting with Argonne and University of Chicago scientists as well as external partners.
Requirements
- Recent or soon-to-be-completed PhD in experimental physics, engineering, or a closely related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment.
- Ability to model Argonne’s core values of impact, safety, respect, integrity, and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with device nanofabrication.
- Experience in microwave and/or optical device measurement and characterization.
- Knowledge of quantum information science.
