Postdoctoral Researcher in Deep Learning and Medical Image Analysis

About the role

The candidate will be responsible for developing deep learning methods to solve challenging problems in medical image analysis, such as image registration, image segmentation, image denoising, image super-resolution, image reconstruction, cancer detection, and image-to-image translation.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep learning methods for medical image analysis
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team consisting of computer scientists, radiologists, pathologists, urologists, and surgeons
• Access to at least 10 NVIDIA A100 GPUs

Requirements

• A PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, or related fields
• Research experience in deep learning and image processing
• Familiarity with PyTorch
• At least one first-author publication in top-tier conferences or journals in the field
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Experience with medical imaging data, such as MRI, CT, and ultrasound
• Experience with SimpleITK
• Experience with variational diffusion models is a plus
