The Department of Distributed and Dependable Systems (D3S), Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, invites applications for a postdoctoral research positions in the area of software architectures for dependable and trustworthy systems with strong focus on utilizing and applying AI. Research focus The successful candidate will conduct research in one or more of the following areas: AI-assisted design of distributed and cyber-physical systemsDependable and resilient AI-based system architecturesTrustworthy and explainable AI for embedded or resource-constrained systemsData collection, processing, minimisation, anonymisation, and benchmarking for AI-enabled systemsEdge-AI and AI in low-power embedded computingVerification, validation, and evaluation of complex system stacks The position offers the opportunity to work in a strong international research environment, collaborate with leading European academic and industrial partners, and contribute to high-impact scientific publications.
