About the role

The Postdoctoral Research Fellow position is dedicated to conducting research under the supervision of Dr. Danzer focusing on Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. The fellow will contribute to the understanding of genetic mechanisms and therapeutic strategies related to the condition.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent research projects aligned with the goals of the Tuberous Sclerosis Complex program.
  • Collaborate with other researchers and clinicians to advance knowledge in the field.
  • Present findings at scientific conferences and publish research in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Participate in grant writing activities to secure funding for research initiatives.

Requirements

  • A PhD in a relevant field such as genetics, neuroscience, or biochemistry.
  • Experience in laboratory-based research, particularly in genetic studies.
  • Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of postdoctoral research experience.

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
