Postdoctoral Research Associate – Vilgalys Evolutionary Immunogenomics Lab

Duties/Responsibilities

• Conduct scientific research, including project design, execution, and dissemination.
• Mentorship and other contributions to the professional development and training of undergraduates, graduate students, and other scientists in the lab.

Qualifications

• Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification: - Ph.D. in genetics/genomics, immunology, evolutionary biology, or related field. - Knowledge and skills in immunology, genome regulation, evolutionary genomics, and mammalian cell culture. - Evidence of capacity for highly productive, independent research activity. - Excellent communication, time-management, and leadership skills. - English language proficiency (written and verbal).

Preferred Skills: - Ability to lead projects involving mammalian cell culture, immunological assays, and functional genomics.
