Postdoctoral Research Associate - Fungal Synthetic Biology

We are seeking a highly motivated, independent scientist for a Postdoctoral Research Associate role in an interdisciplinary lab focusing on fungal biology, synthetic biology, antifungal resistance, and therapeutics. Responsibilities include: developing CRISPR-based genome engineering tools for fungi, engineering microbial systems for biotechnological and therapeutic applications, investigating antifungal resistance mechanisms, and publishing research findings. Qualifications: Ph.D. in a related field such as Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or Bioengineering. Preference for candidates with a strong publication record and expertise in fungal biology, molecular genetics, CRISPR, synthetic biology, or bioinformatics. Must demonstrate the ability to independently design and conduct research, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively. Work environment: Onsite at a research university with a focus on innovation, leadership, and professional development.
