About the role

This position provides support for the University of Northern Colorado's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and other software systems. The incumbent will work with functional and technical staff to ensure the efficient operation of the university's administrative systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for the university's ERP system and related applications
  • Collaborate with functional users to identify and resolve system issues
  • Assist with system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and processes
  • Participate in testing and quality assurance for system changes
  • Work with vendors and external partners to resolve technical problems
  • Provide training and guidance to end users on system functionality
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • Knowledge of SQL and database concepts
  • Understanding of higher education business processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

  • Experience with Ellucian Banner or similar ERP system preferred
  • Familiarity with Oracle database administration
  • Experience with system integration and API development
  • Knowledge of security best practices and data privacy regulations
  • Project management experience
  • Experience working in a university or public sector environment

Pay

Hiring range: $65,000 - $78,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with occasional evening or weekend work as needed for system maintenance or upgrades.
