Postdoctoral Research Associate

Responsibilities

• Carry out experimental research
• Conduct theoretical research and develop material models
• Write grant proposals
• Publish research findings in academic journals
• Supervise undergraduate and graduate students

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree
• Experience in conducting experiments
• Strong background in continuum mechanics, cohesive zone, and crystal plasticity
• Proficiency in using Abaqus and Python scripting
• Knowledge of numerical implementation of plasticity and cohesive zone modeling
• Ability to interface with the molecular dynamics group
