Postdoctoral Fellow - Jaspan Lab
The Jaspan lab at Center for Global Infectious Disease Research at Seattle Children’s Research Institute is seeking a post-doctoral fellow. The lab focuses on host-microbial interactions at mucosal surfaces and their impact on immunity and disease susceptibility, particularly in the infant gut and adolescent/ maternal genital tracts. The fellow will analyze multi-omics data, such as immune-microbial alterations induced by live-biotherapeutic supplements in early life, and assess the microbial-metaproteomic effects of contraceptive devices on the cervicovaginal environment. The goal is to improve infectious morbidity globally. Ideal candidates have a PhD in microbiology, immunology, or bioinformatics, with experience in research and bioinformatics.

Requirements
- Doctorate degree (PhD/DVM/MD) in specialty area from an accredited university
