Postdoctoral Fellow in Omics Data Science

About the Lab

Omics techniques are used to profile bio-signatures at the molecular and tissue levels. Challenges include heterogeneities, noise/errors, large volumes, and complex contexts. The lab develops statistical and machine learning methods to analyze, annotate, and integrate complex omics datasets. They build open-source software for data analysis across modalities. Current projects focus on heterogeneity removal in genomic sequencing, enhancer function dissection with epigenomic data, and DNA oncovirus mechanisms with cross-modality integration. Future directions include spatial omics, AI in translational pathology, and machine learning in clonal hematopoiesis evolution.

Ideal Postdoc Candidate

• Highly motivated and passionate about biomedical data science
• Strong background in machine learning and/or statistics
• Proficient in programming and scientific writing
• Experienced in omics data processing
• Excellent communication skills

Minimum Qualifications

• A Ph.D. in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, or a related field
