Postdoctoral Fellow I, Cardiovascular Medicine

Minimum Qualifications

• Ph.D., M.D. or Doctoral equivalent in any field
• One (1) year of completed Postdoctoral Fellow research experience

JOB DESCRIPTION

The postdoctoral fellow will conduct, report and present research in his/her field of study under the supervision of a faculty mentor. This is a training position, and is not expected to be a permanent position.

Essential Job Functions

• Assists PIs in the conduct of on-going research projects (investigator and industry initiated)
• Executes on-going protocols for clinical trials
• Affixes in the collection/analyzing of clinical data for on-going QI and database research projects
• Familiarity with data handling regulations around medical data and research data (e.g., HIPAA and IRB)
• Experience with data management (e.g., REDCap)
• The ability to work well in a diverse team environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• MD or PhD in a related field
• Research experience
• Analytical and organizational skills
• Attention to detail

SALARY

Commensurate with experience
