Postdoctoral Fellow
Position Information
The Philosophy, Politics & Economics (PPE) Program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is recruiting for a Postdoctoral Fellow. This position is designed to support a talented PPE scholar. Specific duties will include serving as primary researcher and repository manager for the PPE Research Consortium, a project which has been awarded $3.2m grant to offer PPE research grants and to build an accessible infrastructure supporting PPE research and teaching.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute, through their own research activity, to the thriving PPE research community here at UNC and to teach one PPE course each academic year. The appointment will be for an initial year with the possibility of annual renewal for up to an additional two years, contingent upon satisfactory performance review, available funding, and approval by the Program Director.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
PhD in philosophy, political science, economics, or another area directly connected to PPE.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
An active interest in and engagement with research on social and political institutions that does, or will, benefit from bringing together the tools of the three namesake fields of PPE.
