Postdoctoral Fellow
About the role
This is a postdoctoral fellow in the psychology child and adolescent division. This position serves as a clinical provider, researcher, and teaching/supervisor assistant position within the Department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior overall, including a significant role within the Psychology Division, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry division, and the psychology internship program.
Responsibilities
- Research Coordination
- Affiliate with the design, implementation, and management of clinical research studies involving psychedelic administration.
- Supervision
- Mentor research assistants and other study personnel as appropriate.
- Research Dissemination
- Prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
- Present research findings at national and international scientific meetings.
- Auxiliary data analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of research findings.
- Grant & Funding Prep
- Affiliate with the preparation of grant applications and other funding proposals.
- Clinical Support
- Contribute to therapeutic and non-therapeutic clinical trials, including participant assessments and study procedures.
- Other Duties
- Perform other research-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
Qualifications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to complete work and to meet deadlines.
- Willingness and ability to work with research animals.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases or willingness to learn.
