Postdoctoral Fellow

About the role

This is a postdoctoral fellow in the psychology child and adolescent division. This position serves as a clinical provider, researcher, and teaching/supervisor assistant position within the Department of Psychiatry and Health Behavior overall, including a significant role within the Psychology Division, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry division, and the psychology internship program.

Responsibilities

• Research Coordination
  • Affiliate with the design, implementation, and management of clinical research studies involving psychedelic administration.
• Supervision
  • Mentor research assistants and other study personnel as appropriate.
• Research Dissemination
  • Prepare manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Present research findings at national and international scientific meetings.
  • Auxiliary data analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of research findings.
• Grant & Funding Prep
  • Affiliate with the preparation of grant applications and other funding proposals.
• Clinical Support
  • Contribute to therapeutic and non-therapeutic clinical trials, including participant assessments and study procedures.
• Other Duties
  • Perform other research-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or equivalent from an accredited college or university.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to complete work and to meet deadlines.
• Willingness and ability to work with research animals.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong prioritization and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases or willingness to learn.
