Responsibilities
- Design, perform, execute, and disseminate research into the use and value of industrial byproducts in transportation infrastructure
- Collaborate closely with several research groups at Rutgers as well as with national and international academic, governmental, and industrial partners
Requirements
- PhD in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
- Experience in research and development of innovative materials for transportation infrastructure
- Strong background in civil (geotechnical/material) engineering, industrial scale economics, and transportation infrastructure performance
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and project management skills
