About the role
The Pathways to the Professoriate Program aims to diversify the public health professoriate by attracting and retaining academics, particularly those underrepresented groups, to join the tenure track faculty in the School of Public Health and Health Professions.
Responsibilities
- Write manuscripts for publication
- Collect and analyze data
- Write funding proposals
Requirements
Applicants must have been awarded a doctoral degree (or completed all requirements for such) in an appropriate field within the past five years from the appointment.
Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants with expertise in food access and nutritional insecurity, addictions, especially tobacco control, women's health, chronic diseases of aging, and environmental exposure and health in vulnerable populations.
Skills
Strong research skills, ability to collaborate effectively, and a passion for public health are essential.
