Postdoctoral Associate in Cell & Structural Biology

About the Position

The Dai laboratory in the Department of Cell Biology and Neuroscience and the Institute for Quantitative Biomedicine at Rutgers University is seeking a postdoctoral associate. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of new methodologies in cellular tomography and cryo‑focused ion beam milling across multiple collaborative projects. Primary research interests include protein aggregation in neurodegenerative diseases and the structure and dynamics of membrane proteins. The lab is hosted in the Institute for Quantitative Biomedicine, co‑located with the RCSB Protein Data Bank, and has access to the Rutgers Cryo‑electron Microscopy and Nanoimaging Facility as well as core facilities for protein NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and high‑performance computing hardware.
