About the role

The Sarantopoulos Lab at Duke University School of Medicine is seeking a B-cell enthusiast. We are using primary patient samples and mouse models to understand the role of B cells in anti-leukemia/tumor responses.

Responsibilities

• Use primary patient samples and mouse models to study B cells in anti-leukemia/tumor responses
• Contribute to ongoing research projects focusing on B cell fate, function, and dysfunction after allogeneic stem cell transplantation (SCT)
• Identify potential anti-tumor B cell activity in patients who have undergone SCT
• Study BCR-activated B cells in chronic GVHD and their clinical implications
• Perform flow cytometry and cell-based assays to investigate B-T cell interactions

Requirements

• Recent PhD in immunology or PhD in other discipline with significant immunology training
• Strong interest in B cell biology

Qualifications

• PhD in immunology or related field
• Experience with flow cytometry and cell-based assays
• Interest in B cell signaling, B cell activation, and B-T cell interaction
