Postdoc in Generative AI and Pedagogy (Arts & Humanities/Social Sciences)
Job Summary
The postdoc will synthesize emerging research, review and translate scholarship on generative AI in higher education into accessible, faculty-facing guidance, conduct and support research, design and support Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) and/or Discipline Based Educational Research (DBER) projects related to AI, contribute to external grant development, pilot and assess AI tools in instructional contexts, support faculty and CTL programming, collaborate with campus partners to integrate research into CTL programming, develop workshops, consultations, and discipline-informed resources, extend and systematize existing work, build on research conducted by CTL undergraduate Educational Technology Research Assistants, and develop best-practice frameworks and scalable, asynchronous resources.
What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- Synthesize emerging research
- Review and translate scholarship on generative AI in higher education into accessible, faculty-facing guidance.
- Conduct and support research
- Design and support Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) and/or Discipline Based Educational Research (DBER) projects related to AI
