About the role

The position is a 3-year postdoctoral research position with the possibility of extension, starting January 2027 or by mutual agreement. The role is based in the Stewart-Morgan group at the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine (ICMM), University of Copenhagen.

  • Research-based supervision of MSc and PhD students
  • Teaching undergraduate courses
  • Outreach communication activities

Profile

Essential experience and skills

  • PhD in life sciences or a related field
  • Experience in mouse genetics
  • Active interest in epigenetics, genome regulation, or gametogenesis
  • Proficient communication skills and ability to work in teams
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills

Desirable experience and skills

  • Experience in mouse embryology
  • Experience in IVF
  • Experience in flow cytometry and/or imaging experimental design and analysis
  • Experience in bioinformatic analysis of functional genomics datasets (e.g., RNA-seq, bisulfite sequencing)
  • Previous publication as a first author
