Postdoc in Embryo Epigenetics
About the role
The position is a 3-year postdoctoral research position with the possibility of extension, starting January 2027 or by mutual agreement. The role is based in the Stewart-Morgan group at the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine (ICMM), University of Copenhagen.

- Generation and analysis of complex datasets
- Writing of scientific manuscripts
- Contributing to grant applications
- Research-based supervision of MSc and PhD students
- Teaching undergraduate courses
- Outreach communication activities
Profile
Essential experience and skills
- PhD in life sciences or a related field
- Experience in mouse genetics
- Active interest in epigenetics, genome regulation, or gametogenesis
- Proficient communication skills and ability to work in teams
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
Desirable experience and skills
- Experience in mouse embryology
- Experience in IVF
- Experience in flow cytometry and/or imaging experimental design and analysis
- Experience in bioinformatic analysis of functional genomics datasets (e.g., RNA-seq, bisulfite sequencing)
- Previous publication as a first author
