Post-Silicon Systems Software Validation Engineer
About the role
This position is for a Post-Silicon Systems Software Validation Engineer who will be responsible for developing and validating software for various hardware components including PCIe, HBM, GPUs, and neural networks. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills and a deep understanding of computer architecture and chip/system validation methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate software for hardware components like PCIe, HBM, GPUs, and neural networks.
- Work with firmware testing and development, including BIOS, BMC, and drivers.
- Participate in the full validation lifecycle from RTL simulation to silicon failure analysis and debug.
- Experience with Linux environments, Git, server hardware, and debug tools.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning Hardware/Software Architecture and CI/CD.
- Experience with EDA simulations or emulation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with one software programming language.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture and chip/system validation methodologies.
- Experience with SystemVerilog/UVM, VCS, Questa, Xcelium, Palladium, Zebu, and Veloce.
- Experience with CI/CD and EDA simulations or emulation.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include experience with Python, Lua, C/C++, Rust, Go, and knowledge of machine learning hardware/software architecture.
Skills
Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, Lua, C/C++, Rust, Go, etc.), experience with Linux environments and Git, and familiarity with server hardware and debug tools.
Benefits
Annual Hiring Range: $87,400.00 - $165,000.00
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
Pay
The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
