Post Mastectomy Fitter in Training

Responsibilities

• Health care professional specifically educated and trained in the provision of breast prostheses and post-mastectomy items and services.
• Patient assessment, formulation of a treatment plan, implementation of the treatment plan, follow-up, and practice management.
• Meet the required hours of training; complete a fitter pre-certification education course; sit for and pass the national exam for certification (CFm - Certified Fitter of Mastectomy).

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of Two Years of Customer Service experience in the Medical Field.
• Computer skills for input and verification.
• Meet the required hours of training; complete a fitter pre-certification education course; sit for and pass the national exam for certification (CFm - Certified Fitter of Mastectomy).
