Responsibilities
- Participate in all steps of the post-harvest process including intake, drying, curing, and trimming
- Maintain compliance using a centralized tracking system
- Document testing results through reports and logs
- Input data into the company database
- Ensure all product is accounted for according to company policy and procedures
- Conduct continual quality control assessment as product moves through the process
- Maintain and operate all equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Ensure an overall positive, safe, and clean environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
- Strong knowledge and understanding of cannabis handling including drying, curing, and trimming
- Ability to work hands-on with cannabis plant material daily
- Flexibility to work in various sectors of the production department as needed
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with cross-departmental teams
- Proactive attitude and positive demeanor
- Self-motivated, innovative, and team-oriented
- Excellent time management skills to drive efficiency and productivity while maintaining high-quality finished product
- Compliance with all legal and company regulations
- Valid Driver’s License or ability to obtain one
Physical Requirements
- Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and transport such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
- Ability to work seated or standing for extended periods, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
- Use hands and fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, or pinch frequently or constantly to complete tasks
- Handle organic matter daily
- Wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection)
- Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (temperatures of 95 degrees or greater)
- Visual acuity with or without job aids for reading, viewing computer terminals, and inspecting small parts or details; clarity of vision at 20 feet or more in day and night conditions
- Ability to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels in moderate noise environments
