Responsibilities

Operations Support
Operate production tools safely and efficiently within a cleanroom environment.
Load/unload wafers, materials, and tools in accordance with operating procedures.
Monitor equipment performance, alarms, and system statuses.
Support production goals by maintaining equipment uptime and tool availability.
Follow all safety, ESD, and contamination control guidelines.

Process Support
Learn and monitor semiconductor manufacturing processes according to documented procedures.
Assist with process setup, recipe changes, and process optimization under engineering guidance.
Perform inspections, measurements, and basic data collection to ensure process stability.
Identify process deviations and escalate issues to engineering or leadership as required.

Equipment Maintenance
Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Assist with equipment repairs, part replacements, and system calibrations.
Maintain maintenance logs and documentation in accordance with company standards.
Support equipment startups, shutdowns, and qualification activities.

Continuous Improvement & Team Collaboration
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for process, equipment, and operations.
Work closely with engineers, technicians, and operators across shifts.
Assist with training new team members and documenting procedures.
Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and organization in work areas.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 1-2 years of technical manufacturing experience.
Basic computer literacy, including the use of email, web-based systems, and common office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office applications) to document work, create reports, and communicate with team members.
Self-motivated, showing initiative and drive to exceed performance expectations.
Analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with close attention to detail.
Ability to work well in a diverse team environment.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
Fluent in speaking and writing English.
Able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Preferred

Vocational High School, Technical training, or technical trade certificate.
Proficient in working with hand tools, meters, and calibration tools.
Knowledge of and ability to follow 5S, LEAN is a plus.

Pay

Hourly: onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $18.46 to $32.26 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
