About the role
Multiple post-doctoral positions are available in the Trapped Ion Quantum Information group at Indiana University, Bloomington, to begin as early as July 1, 2025, with an expected start date of March 1, 2026. The position is renewable with an initial appointment for one year and offers a generous salary and benefits package. Responsibilities
- Experimental quantum simulation of chemical and condensed‑matter systems using 1D and 2D ion arrays.
- Development and optimization of quantum algorithms for hybrid quantum simulators.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
